Time in mobility isn’t linear, it’s emotional. And WERC Global 2025 was a whirlwind of panels, hallway conversations, late-night brainstorms, and yes, plenty of fun. It felt like a month packed into a few unforgettable days.
The Americas: 35 Countries, Endless Possibilities
This was PMA’s first global WERC, and the warm welcome we received was nothing short of inspiring. The Americas aren’t just a region, they’re a mosaic of opportunity, complexity, and innovation. From Canada to Argentina, we’re ready to dive deeper and build stronger bridges across borders.
Spanish Mode Activated
Dusting off Spanish was both exhilarating and humbling, a hilarious reminder that fluency lives in practice. But nothing beats real conversations to bring it all back. Language is connection, and mobility thrives on it.

AI: From Disruption to Acceleration
AI wasn’t just a buzzword, it was the backbone of nearly every session. From relocation tech to predictive analytics, AI is helping teams speed up delivery, personalize experiences, and reduce friction.
But the challenge is clear: upskilling. Mobility professionals must learn to collaborate with AI, not compete against it.
Sustainability: From Trend to Core Strategy
Sustainability is no longer optional. Companies are embedding it into relocation policies, housing choices, supplier selection, and employee retention. Mobility is being reimagined as a platform for education and behavioral change, not just logistics.
Compliance & Immigration: Still Center Stage
Immigration panels were packed, and for good reason. Tax and regulatory shifts across regions are forcing companies to rethink policy structures. Compliance isn’t just legal, it’s operational, and it’s evolving fast.
LATAM: Complexity Meets Opportunity
It was an absolute honor to represent PMA on the LATAM panel, sharing the stage with professionals I’ve admired for years. The room was full, the energy was high, and the message was clear: LATAM deserves a seat at every strategic table.

Key insights from our session:
- Housing expectations are shifting — fully furnished homes and bundled destination services are in high demand.
- Immigration remains a challenge, especially around local ID setup, which delays onboarding.
- Global standards don’t always fit LATAM realities, policy adaptation is essential.
- Cultural fluency matters. Understanding the nuances between U.S. and LATAM business styles can make or break an assignment.
- Interregional mobility is rising, and geopolitical shifts are influencing talent flows.
